European Chronic Disease Alliance
- November 05th 2012
The European Chronic Disease Alliance (ECDA) is informal alliance of 10 not-for-profit organisations, representing over 100,000 health professionals and patients, which was created in 2010. The objective is to reverse the alarming rise in chronic disease by providing policy recommendations based on current evidence. ECDA's recommendations address in particular the four major risk factors – tobacco use, poor nutrition, physical inactivity and alcohol consumption. The European Heart Network is a founding member of ECDA.
